Where to find and reset your Steam trade URL

Your trade URL lets another person open a trade offer addressed to you. It is not your password and does not let someone take items without approval. Even so, avoid publishing it more widely than necessary.
Find your trade offer link in Steam, understand what it allows and replace it if unwanted offers become a problem. Keep login credentials private.
Find the link in your own Steam account
Open Steam Community, go to your inventory and choose Trade Offers. Open ‘Who can send me Trade Offers?’ and find the Third-Party Sites section. Copy the trade URL from that page. Interface wording can vary by language; use the controls inside Steam rather than a link sent by a stranger.
Check that you are signed into the intended account. A profile URL or SteamID is not the same as the trade URL. When a legitimate service needs your offer link, paste only that link into the relevant field. It does not also need your password, mobile authenticator code or recovery code to receive it.
Reset the link when needed, then verify offers
The same Steam page offers a way to create a new trade URL. Replacing the token invalidates the old third-party offer link, so update services where you intentionally saved it. This can reduce unwanted offers using the previous link, but it is not a full account-security reset.
Every incoming offer still needs inspection. Check the sender’s identity, the items leaving your inventory and the items you receive. A message claiming that money will arrive later is not a payment mechanism inside a Steam trade. If you suspect someone has account access, secure the account and authorised devices as well; changing a trade URL alone does not remove a stolen login session.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone steal items just by knowing my trade URL?
The URL alone does not authorise transfers. The main risk is receiving misleading or unwanted offers that you might mistakenly accept.
Does replacing the URL remove my friends?
No. It changes the third-party trade-link token, not your friends list or profile identity.
